The Michigan Wolverines basketball team improved to 5-0 today. And they did it fairly easily.

The Wolverines took care of the Kansas State Wildcats 71-57 tonight and won the preseason-NIT title. Tim Hardaway Jr.  scored 23 points and lead the way in the victory.

Michigan starts 5-0 and will have another tough test on Tuesday against the N.C. State Wolfpack in the ACC/Big Ten challenge.

The Big Ten has always had a tough time in the challenge in most years but they look a little stronger than the ACC this season. As usual, there are some big time matchups in the challenge including the Michigan/NC State and then the Indiana Hoosiers will play the Tar Heels of North Carolina. All four teams are ranked nationally.
