Lions Have Two Tough Games This Week

The Detroit Lions have two games in the next six days and they are going to have to play their best football.

On Sunday, the Lions will host arch rival Green Bay, in what will be a very important clash for both teams, more for the Lions though. The Lions are  4-5 this year and need to at least spilt this two games this week to remain in the potential playoff hunt. The Packers are coming in to Sunday’s game with a 6-3 record. The Lions will have a tough task in trying to defeat the Packers on Sunday. However, that is the easy game of the two in the next week.

On Thanksgiving and national television, the Detroit Lions will play the team that is currently tied for the best record in all of the NFL, the Houston Texans. The Texans are 8-1, and look pretty well in recent weeks.

I think the Lions will steal one the two games this coming week.  I feel like they will beat the Packers in dramatic fashion but then get crushed on Thanksgiving to the Texans, which is kind of scary. However, maybe the defense will pick it up the next two games. In any case, the last Lions win on Thanksgiving, which was in 2003 against the Green Bay Packers, the final being 22-14.  But below is a highlight we all remember from last year.
