No doubt who’s covering Calvin this weekend

It appears the Lions will have the rest of the week to prepare for who will be in charge of covering Megatron.  On Twitter Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman has switched his Twitter handle to “Optimus Prime.”

For you non-Transformers nerds out there, Optimus Prime is the leader of the Autobots, who are the good guys, and Megatron is the leader of the Decepticons, who are the bad guys in the Transformer world.

What does that mean for Sunday’s game?  It could give the Lions  and Calvin Johnson some much-needed early fire and could lead to some scores before the fourth quarter.

All I can hope for is no more nights like Monday for Megatron, not sure if he can shake Charles Tillman from his memory:

So is this trash-talk that could actually lead to the Lions doing something like getting mad or even better scoring points?  Or is this just a lame attempt at getting our attention here in Detroit?  Let us know at @DSBloggers on Twitter or on Facebook or in the comments below to tell us what you, the fans, think.
