Biggest surprise: Andy Dirks. The Tigers outfielder/DH is hitting .369 in 25 games so far this season. He has 16 hits in his last 10 games and could be a very important player going forward.

Disappointment: Rick Porcello. I still believe he can be a solid starter for this team, noting he is still 24 years of age. However, the patience among most fans are probably running out on him because he has been around for so long. He has had a few good outings this season but continues to lack consistency.  I feel he will be on the team for the season but a quick trip down to Toledo could be a possibility.
