Red Wings @ Ducks and Pistons @ Kings

On the slate tonight, the Red Wings take on the Anaheim Ducks. For the Red Wings, this is game three of a tough four game road trip for the team.  They are going through a difficult stretch, losing five of their last six games.  The Red Wings (44-23-3) are looking to rebound against the Ducks (29-30-11) who have won 11 of their last 14 games at home. The Wings are pretty banged up right now but I expect them to give the Ducks a good game. This game is an important game for the Wings, as they have fallen to 4th in the Western Conference. The difference in the game will be the play of Valtteri Flippula, as I think the Wings will pull this one out with a 3-2 final.

As for the Pistons, they travel to Sacramento to take on the Kings. It is the second game of a five game road trip. The Pistons have been playing solid basketball as of late, winning 11 of their last 15 games.   They played well in Utah on Monday, where they lost to the Jazz 105-90 but the game was much closer than the final score indicated.  Rodney Stuckey has been on fire for the Pistons averaging 19.2 points per game in his last 10 games. The Pistons are only three games back of the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference. This is a big game for the Pistons but it will be tough for them to win as they are only 3-16 on the road. Prediction: Kings 110, Pistons 108.
